Ladan qualified in London in 1990 as an Aerobics Director/Personal Trainer. She began her career as an Aerobics Teacher specialising in a variety of classes including: Step, High/Low Impact Aerobics, Aqua, Body Sculpt, Circuits, Body Pump, Aeroskip, Boxercise, Stretch, Street Dance, FitKid, 50+ Seniors, Core Stability, Yoga & Meditation.
In 1993 she was head hunted by Phillip Wain International, a chain of prestigious health clubs in Asia. The success of her teaching and studio management in Hong Kong led to her obtaining a position as Fitness Director on board various luxury cruise liners where she was travelling and teaching around the world.
After her travels, Ladan established herself as a highly recognised and sought after fitness professional in London, where she personally trained high profile celebrity clients and taught classes on a freelance basis for most of the exclusive health clubs. Her energetic and motivating classes had a great following due to her infectious energy and her outgoing personality. Her workouts were always in huge demand and this popularity has led to both fitness clothing sponsorship from USA Pro, StepnPump clothing, Physical Co & Maxitone.
Due to her popularity, Ladan auditioned and landed a presenting job on Sky Television for Fitness TV ( channel 282 ), where the viewers voted her the best presenter and her work-outs were regularly featured as the most popular on their homepage.
Ladan also did some fitness modelling and had a Legs Bums & Tums DVD out with FitnessTV.
She’s also a freelance fitness expert & consultant, where she’s been commissioned to write for magazines and online fitness sites such as boots.com, AOL.com, Yahoo and Women’s fitness to name a few. Ladan has also had her work-outs published for Health & Fitness magazine. She provides features and work-outs for them on the latest state of the art training and is a regular contributor for ”Omyoga” & lifestyle magazine and has her own blog on Huffington post. She was Ladan on the expert panel with her own column for ”Balance” magazine on subjects such as health & well-being.
Ladan furthered her studies in her exciting journey of living a healthy, holistic lifestyle, into the field of weight-loss NLP & life coaching as well as becoming a holistic nutritional therapist. This inspired her do an intense Yoga teacher training in the Himalayas in 2007, where she studied with Sivananda school and in 2008 she completed the Ashtanga yoga training in San Francisco.
In December 2010, Ladan launched her new book & DVD ”fabulous fitness at 40”. This book is about cultivating a positive attitude towards overall health and well being whether physical, mental, emotional or spiritual with a complementary DVD. Due to the success of the launch of Ladan’s book, Ladan also produced a TV series of the book with a work-out DVD which was aired BodyinBalance sky channel ( 275) and every global TV network. Currently, Ladan is running her own yoga classes and workshops In Ealing, West London and facilitating UK and European yoga & meditation retreats.
Each year, you can catch Ladan presenting with talks and teaching her classes at the big shows such as Vitality, Mind,body,spirit, Yoga show and many more.
